Renowned for its forts and palaces, Rajasthan is also home to one of the most famous and well established national parks in India. The Ranthambore National Park, so named for the Ranthambore Fort which lies within the park, is central to the Government of India"s Tiger Project, established to protect these big cats and to grow their numbers.
Starting in Delhi the tour wends its way through Agra and Jaipur before heading directly to the park where you will send two nights. A full day is devoted to activities within the park. Ranthambore National Park covers an area 1334 square kilometers and is home to a large tiger population in addition to leopards, Blue Bulls (nilgai), wild boar, sambar, hyena, sloth bear and deer (chital). The sanctuary is home to a wide variety of trees, plants, birds and reptiles, as well as one of the largest banyan trees in India. Tiger sightings are so common at Ranthambore that they are almost a given.

Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel, check-in. Depending on the arrival time of your flight you may begin sightseeing in the afternoon after lunch. Dinner at overnight at hotel.
Day 02 After breakfast, sightseeing of Delhi, including a drive by of the Presidents Palace and India Gate and then visit Emperor Humayun
Day 03 After breakfast visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort, coming back to your hotel for lunch and the drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri which should take about 5 hours. Arrive in Jaipur, check-in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04 After breakfast sightseeing of the Amber Fort returning to your hotel for lunch. After lunch visit the Palace of Jaipur, the "Hawa Mahal" or Wind Palace and the Jantar Mantar
Day 05 Morning at leisure after breakfast. You will be able to explore Jaipur city by yourself. After lunch at the hotel, drive to Ranthambore National Park and check-in to hotel. The drive should last approximately 4 hours. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 06 Morning and evening Game viewing in the Park. Your exact program for game viewing will intimated to you the day before. Game viewing is best in the mornings and the evenings with mid-morning to mid-afternoon typically at leisure.
Day 07 In the morning, after breakfast, drive the 180 kilometers to Jaipur, fly to Delhi and to catch your connecting international flight and depart India.
